Signal Hill

We are named after the hill that signalled to ships

A useful signal is simple, on time and acted on

Signal Hill rises 350 metres above sea level in Cape Town, next to Lion's Head and Table Mountain. Flags flown from it gave visiting ships weather warnings and anchoring instructions. Since 4 August 1902 the Noon Gun has fired from Lion Battery on the hill, keeping a time signal the city has had since 1806.

An airline's offer should work the same way: a clear choice, shown at the moment a passenger decides. Our logo is two flags from the International Code of Signals, S and H.
